I'm attempting to put some linear barcode into the reporting service, and finally convert it to the excel sheet. Any idea?

Hey, you may have a try of the SQL Reporting Services control which helps to use the dll assembly for barcode generation. It is something like the integrated component, make sure it compatible with your SQL and support the linear barcode you need.

I guess you need one control for the reporting services, and it is possible to maintain barcode images on SSRS when you exporting it on the excel sheet. Just have a try.

That is quite easy, just use some
barcode generator for reporting service. Try this.http://www.barcodelib.com/net_reporting_services/main.html

At first, there are SSRS 2005 and SSRS 2008, which do you use? Then, I think you need to add linear barcode control to your project. You may refer to this unspammed
